Who we are

The Spanish Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation

The ReFAL

The Spanish Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation (ReFAL) is made up of more than 180 organizations throughout Spain.

Their fields of work are diverse, encompassing areas such as development cooperation, intercultural dialogue, gender equality, youth, education, immigration and the environment.

The heterogeneity of the members and the interdisciplinarity of their activities constitute an added value to the network itself and an element of richness.

Through the action of its national networks, the promotion of peace, justice and strong partnerships, the Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF) strives to create a world in which people from diverse backgrounds live together in harmony through open and meaningful intercultural exchanges.

Our vision

Building inclusive societies that embrace cultural diversity and understanding as tools for social cohesion.

Our mission

To promote collaboration among our members, strengthen civil society, promote sociocultural diversity and sustainable human development.

Our values

Respect, dialogue, cooperation and mutual understanding form the basis of everything we do.

Intercultural dialogue should be considered one of the essential pillars of Euro-Mediterranean policy.

Our work

Strengthening our community

We promote and disseminate the actions and projects of our members to strengthen their impact. We invite our members to participate in calls for proposals and training workshops to enhance their skills.

Empowering young people and democracy

Through projects, training, and collaborative networks, we empower young people to develop leadership, critical thinking, and civic engagement, as well as promote participatory democracy.

Promote new narratives against polarization

We promote awareness of the importance of intercultural dialogue and advocate for policies that support cultural diversity.

Promote cooperation and mobility between FAL Networks

We promote Euro-Mediterranean cooperation and mobility among FAL networks. This facilitates the exchange of experiences and the creation of alliances between organizations.
